My photography is inspired by a compulsion to explore the wilder places outdoors, whether nearby in the Surrey Hills or the more rugged mountain ranges around the world. In all honesty, my photography is really a by-product of travel via mountain biking, scrambling, hiking or even snowboarding through landscapes that continually, and so often unexpectedly, stop me dead in my tracks and simply compel me to capture the magical moment.
